of the experiences that shape each individual. Born in the
Mid-West, his unique style is a result of his own life experiences.
His career choices have ranged from professional bouncer to
intern funeral director to law enforcement.
A veteran law officer for more
than 2 decades, Rex
is also a popular TV and radio personality, weekly columnist
and adjutant junior college professor. He shares with us many
anecdotal accounts from his long and varied career and has
a talent for entertaining, while still imparting a serious
message.

Tom Killian
Training Associate, special events coordinator and trainer.
Tom Killian has been a leader and problem solver all of his life.
A Californian native, Tom has served in the United States Marine
Corps, where he learned the importance of teamwork, responsibility,
leadership and problem solving. In 1982, Tom became a Law Enforcement
Officer with the State of California. In 2000, Tom was appointed
the Public Information Officer within his department. He is also
a co-host of a weekly, live call-in radio show. His experience ranges
from regional to national media outlets.
Tom is well respected by his peers for
his outstanding interpersonal skills, problem solving and creditability.
He has been involved with little league baseball, girls softball,
youth football, and has worked with youth through the Learning for
Life Explorer Program since 1991. Tom has also served as the Public
Relations Chairman for his Shrine Center and President of the Shrine
Clowns, which support Shrine Hospitals for Children.
